Trash and deleting

Get deleted files back, or remove them for good.

Moving something to the trash doesn’t delete it straight away. To do that, press … and choose Move to trash, or select it and press Delete. You can press Undo right after.

Restore something

Open Trash, select the item, and press Restore. Its folder needs to still exist, or it goes back to the top level of your files.

Delete for good

Items stay in the trash for 30 days, then they’re removed automatically. To remove them sooner, select them and press Delete forever, or press Empty trash. This can’t be undone.

Items in the trash still count towards your storage.
